The IPSF Level 2 Certificate in Aerial Yoga qualifies the candidate to teach beginner to advanced aerial yoga programmes independently and enables them to plan a series of linked sessions. There will still be a significant focus on the “How to” skills of teaching aerial yoga. The technical, practical and theoretical elements of aerial yoga will be focused upon with over 30 hours of guided learning. The emphasis is on safe teaching as well as technical understanding. You will also develop a greater knowledge of the physical and psychological demands of aerial yoga on the enthusiast and how this impacts on your teaching.

Existing yoga, pole, fitness and aerial instructors who have a good physical, practical and educational level of understanding in the delivery of safe and effective teaching sessions.

How is the course delivered?
The IPSF Level 2 Certificate in Aerial Yoga will be delivered online. It will be split into the following phases:
Phase 1 - Course study - Complete the online study of the learning materials and pass the quizzes to test the level of understanding.
Phase 2 - Assessment preparation – Understanding the important of session planning
Phase 3 - Written assessment - Multiple choice assessments to include questions on all elements of the teaching course.
Phase 4 - Practical assessment - Delivery of the practical video assessment to include a beginner session.
Throughout the taught programme, the theoretical “How to” skills of teaching aerial yoga are threaded through the technical skills, both by assessment and practical video sessions. As a result, you will have many opportunities to practice your technical skills. You will be assessed through an independent written and practical assessment.
Successful candidates that achieve 80% pass rate or more will receive a certificate. The course expires after one year and you will be emailed 14 day prior to expiration.
