TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR

  • Online role where you work from home. You are not required to work in the IPSF office
  • Must attend a monthly ONLINE Monday meeting at 8pm (UK time) for 1-2 hours
  • Must attend a weekly ONLINE meeting at times to suit
  • Will work with the vice-president, president and treasurer
  • Must have experience in writing courses and course management
  • Must have high level computer skills
  • Must live in a time zone no more than 2/3 hour of Europe
  • Must be proactive
  • Role:
    • Prepare and submit courses to awarding bodies
    • Work with training providers
    • Write or coordinate new courses
    • Oversee all course bookings and payment

ANTI-DOPING CHAIR

 

  • Executive committee role

  • 2-3 hours a week
  • Voluntary
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Online role where you work from home. You are not required to work in the IPSF office
  • Must attend a monthly ONLINE Monday meeting at 8pm (UK time) for 1-2 hours
  • Must attend a weekly ONLINE meeting at times to suite
  • Will work with the vice-president and athletes chair
  • Experience is useful but not necessary
  • Must attend trainings in sample taking and anti-doping education
  • Must be a confident public speaker and lead workshops in doping
  • Must have high level computer skills
  • Must be able to attend the WPSC annually
  • Must be proactive
  • Role:
    • Create an athletes education programme
    • Work with WADA and other anti-doping organisations
    • Oversee the implementation of the IPSF anti-doping programme
    • Give presentations and talks on anti-doping
    • Train others in sample taking and anti-doping education

PA TO THE VICE-PRESIDENT

  • Will work directly with the vice-president
  • Must be able to access and answer emails daily
  • Must be proactive
  • Role:
    • Assist the Vice-President with daily tasks
    • Answer emails
    • Arrange schedules and meeting

BLOG WRITER

  • 2 blogs per month
  • Voluntary
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Online role where you work from home. You are not required to work in the IPSF office
  • Must attend a weekly ONLINE Monday meeting at 8pm (UK time) for 30 minutes – 1hour
  • Will work with the marketing chair
  • No experience required but good writing and editing skills a must
  • Must have high level computer skills
  • Role:
    • Write interesting and thought provoking blogs about IPSF and Pole
    • Creatively research ideas of your own as well as being given topics to write about
    • Must be proactive and able to work without guidance
    • Minimum of 2 blogs a month plus one Gravitas magazine article once a year

    • Create graphics for social media
    • Create publicity graphic
    • Create World Pole publicity and sponsorship graphics
    • Create the Gravitas magazine once a year
    • Creatively research ideas of your own as well as being given ideas to design
    • Must be proactive and able to work without guidance

  • Will work with the general secretary and marketing team
  • Must have computer skills
  • Role:
    • To make contact with potential donors for prizes for the WPSC17 Lottery/raffle
    • To arrange for delivery or collection of the prizes either to the WPSC venue or to winners
    • To ensure all donors are thanked
    • To liaise with marketing team to announce prizes and donors

    • To plan free seminars and workshops for the WPSC convention
    • To liaise with instructors/coaches/speakers re their subjects
    • To make sure a wide variety of subjects are covered
    • To help plan timings for seminars and workshops throughout the WPSC weekend
    • To assist in bookings for these events

  • Must have computer skills
  • Must be able to attend WPSC17
  • Must have an understanding of applying non-discriminatory policies in the work place
  • Role:
    • To be the liaison between athletes and the competitions team for all communication prior to the competition
    • To liaise with the venue as needed to ensure para pole athletes are looked after
    • To assist all para pole athletes at the WPSC with an assistant
    • To deal with enquiries and resolve issues that may arise
    • To liaise with technical team for queries regarding code of points/rules and regulations
