Athletes Qualification 2014

How to qualify for the World Pole Sports Championships 2014

The IPSF requires the highest level athletes from around the world. Athletes must qualify either top two or top three in the competitions listed below in order to take part in in the WPSC14. If you have entered a competition and placed in the top two and your competition is not listed please ask your competition to apply. WE DO NOT ACCEPT VIDEO ENTRIE FOR MEN'S, WOMEN'S OR DOUBLES. Applications open on 1st Febuary. An athletes manual with the list of compulsory moves will be avaliable upon application from 1st Febuary.

The following competitions have been chosen for athletes qualification to the World Pole Sports Championships 2014. They have been chosen for one of the following reasons:

  • They are National Championships hosted by a National Federation member of the IPSF with a minimum status of associate membership (top 3 athletes accepted)
  • They are an IPSF recognised competition with an accredited elite category using IPSF certified judges and scoring system (top 3 athletes accepted)
  • They are an IPSF accredited competition using IPSF certified judges and scoring system (top 3 athletes accepted)
  • They are a highly regarded competition that is fair and transparent with an elite category that has IPSF recognition (top 2 athletes accepted)
  • They are of a sporting or fitness nature and do not wear heels.

The IPSF reserves the right to select only one competition in countries that have an IPSF endorsed National Federation and or competition.

The IPSF does NOT accredit competitions that we only accept the top two athletes from; we recognise some of the categories they host. From 2015/16 we will no longer be accepting athletes from elite competition categories not fully accredited by the IPSF.

If you are not listed below and would like to petition to become a WPSC qualifying competition for the WPSC14 please download the PDF for more details and email Info@polesports.org for an application form.
