Accredited National Competitions

The PFASA Competition has been running since 2012 in Gauteng, South Africa. The PFASA aims to promote pole fitness as a respected sport and maintain the highest standards within a pole fitness competition. The PFASA Competition uses a detailed and descriptive judging system across the four different divisions. The judging system sets out the criteria of the ‘type of moves’ that must be performed, without limiting the competitor to which exact moves. This allows the competitors to show a range of skills, and compete to be the best all-round performer. The divisions are the ‘Duets Division’, which is open to men and women, the ‘Men’s Division’, which is judged at an advanced-professional standard, in line with the ‘Women’s Gold Division’. This is the women’s advanced-professional division. There is also the ‘Women’s Silver Division’, judged at an intermediate level.

UK Professional Pole Championships

The UK Professional Pole Championships is the first competition in the UK to give professional dancers the opportunity to compete against their peers through our THREE professional categories - Instructor, Professional, and Elite. UKPPC aims to be a fair, ethical, professional, and transparent competition that recognises the athleticism and artistry of pole dance.



" Our goal is to give an opportunity to known and undiscovered talented pole athletes and dancers to participate at a competition where entrants are credited for their technical knowledge and overall stage presence.

Due to the open nature of the competition candidates from all countries are welcome to compete thus the competition is an excellent chance for entrants to compare their skills to that of other international pole athletes.

This year we expect entries in the following categories:

• Women's single category
• Men's single category

The Czech Pole Dance Championships

Czech Pole Dance Championship organized by Czech pole & aerial sports federation is the official national competition in Pole Dance, which gives the opportunity to compete in two categories: Amateurs and Professionals.

The rules are made in cooperation with the European Pole Sport Union and improved after the experiences from the First Czech Pole Dance Championship in 2012. To pass the qualifying round the competitors have to be able to execute some obligatory movements that are different for each category.

Winners chosen by the judges have an opportunity to participate at several international competitions.

The second Czech Pole Dance Championship will take place at Palace Theater at Wenceslas Square in Prague on the 21st and 22nd 2013. You can find information at www.poledancemistrovstvi.cz.

Invites competitors over 18 years of age from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
