How to qualify for the World Pole Sports Championships 2014

The IPSF requires elite athletes from around the world. Athletes must be placed either 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the competitions listed below in order to take part in the WPSC14. You will need to confirm which competitions are accredited for all 3 places; some are only recognised for 1st & 2nd place. If you have entered a competition and placed in the top two and your competition is not listed please ask your competition to apply. WE DO NOT ACCEPT VIDEO ENTRY FOR MEN'S, WOMEN'S OR DOUBLES. Applications open on 1st March. All qualified athletes will be emailed with application details.

Masters and Youth Applications
Applications for both the masters and youth is via video entry or winning an IPSF endorsed competition:
* Applications open 1st March
* Applications close 15th May
* Results will be anounced 30th May
* Application fee £25

Competition Qualification
The following competitions have been chosen for athletes qualification to the World Pole Sports Championships 2014. They have been chosen for one of the following reasons:

• They are National Championships hosted by a National Federation member of the IPSF with a minimum status of associate membership (top 3 athletes accepted)

• They are an IPSF recognised competition with an accredited elite category using IPSF certified judges and scoring system (top 3 athletes accepted)

• They are an IPSF accredited competition using IPSF certified judges and scoring system (top 3 athletes accepted)

• They are a highly regarded competition that is fair and transparent with an elite category that has IPSF recognition (top 2 athletes accepted)

• They are of a sporting or fitness nature and do not allow heels to be worn.

The IPSF reserves the right to select only one competition in countries that have an IPSF endorsed National Federation and or competition.

If you are not listed below and would like to petition to become a WPSC qualifying competition for the WPSC14 please download the PDF for more details and email info@polesports.org for an application form. Due to the volume of applications and number of athletes already qualified, competition accreditation has now been closed for 2014.

Please note for the competitive year of 2014/15 the IPSF will only be recognising competitions that use the full IPSF criteria and trained judges. We wil no longer be recognising competitons with the titles "Miss or Mr" we require a sporting name.
