Swedish Pole Federation

The Swedish Pole Dance Federation (SPDF) is a non-profit organisation
which was founded on 10/10/10.

The Swedish Pole Dance Federation's most important work is to:

• Create a positive image of pole dancing / pole fitness / pole sport as a training and competition form in Sweden.

• Arrange judging and instructor training courses.

• Co-host the Swedish Championships in pole sports annually.

• Support the regional competitions and events that promote pole sports in Sweden.

• Help getting Swedish competitors and Swedish judges recognised internationally.

Through membership with the Swedish Sports Confederation, the Swedish Dance Sport Federation, the Swedish Olympic committee contributes to better policies and conditions to the active members in the SPDF.

The Swedish Sports Confederation is a powerful organ of opinion in the service of Swedish sport, continually clarifying the responsibility that sport assumes and the positive values that the popular movement represents.

It is the Swedish Sports Confederation that defends the legitimacy of sport and reports on the current state of sport, illuminating its extent and importance.
