Pole Sports Industry Awards

This year the International Pole Sports Federation wanted to recognise the hard work and dedication displayed across the Pole Sports industry, via the introduction of the IPSF Pole Sports Industry Awards. Created to recognise and celebrate the effort and accomplishments of all individuals in the industry, the IPSF welcomes Athlete, Business and Federation nominations from across the world to be put towards a panel of judges consisting of both IPSF committee members and the general public.

In true spirt of IPSF ethics, these awards will be decided by all of us. The judging panel will consist of IPSF committee members, IPSF national presidents and vice-presidents and you by way of public vote.

How does it work?

  1. Nominations will close on 30th April
  2. Nominees will be contacted on 1st May
  3. Nominations will be announced on 7th May.
  4. Voting will take place between 7th May - 7th July
  5. IPSF committee and IPSF national federations presidents vote 1st-7th July. Voting will be based on the questionnaire completed by the nominee.
  6. 30% of the public vote combined with 70% of the committee/national federations presidents will make up the total score
  7. Winners will be announced on 26th July at the World Pole Sports Championships

Who can be nominated?

  1. You can nominate yourself or someone else by clicking on the nominations link below
  2. All nominees should be pole sports related.
  3. All nominees with the exception of the IPSF federation award do not have to be members of the IPSF or have taken part in an IPSF competition.

How do we know how to vote?

  1. Once the nominations are in, a questionaire will be sent to the athletes about their achievements over the year. These will be listed against their profile for you to decide who to chose.
  2. Public vote will open and anyone can vote. Your vote can only be counted once and the system will not allow more than one vote per person per category.
  3. The IPSF will judge the applications and results will be collated.
  4. The score will be added together to find the winner in each category.

Pole Industry Award - Business

The International Pole Sports Federation is a not for profit federation supported solely by volunteers. Whilst the road to becoming a recognised sport is a long and expensive one, in recent years the IPSF has achieved things that many said were impossible and that has been due to the support and loyalty of businesses in the Pole Sports industry. The Pole Sports Business Industry award will be awarded to the individual business that is deemed to have given the most back to the Pole Sports community and supported the IPSF efforts.

Pole Industry Award - National Federation

The IPSF National Federation Accreditation was designed to unite National Federations from across the world under the IPSF umbrella, enabling a unified effort to positively promote Pole Sports and guide the growing number of people who wish to be taken seriously in the discipline. The IPSF recognises the efforts of each National governing body and has created this award to celebrate their achievement by awarding one IPSF National Federation this Pole Sports Industry award. The winner of the IPSF National Federation award will be chosen based upon their effort and accomplishments in positively promoting Pole Sports to the general public and the advances they have made in representing Pole Sports in their country.
