York Hall Leisure Centre (website)
First opened in 1929 by the Duke of York, this grand Neo-Georgian building is situated at the heart of the trendy East End. Home to some of the greatest boxing battles in history the hall enjoyed a recent £4.2 million refurbishment. Within minutes walk from Bethnal Green Tube and Overground stations, the hall has easy transport links to the City of London, West End and the Olympic Park. I addition to hosting the WPSC Olympic pole sport exhibition, York Hall is also hosting Olympic synchronized swimming.
